1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz milk chocolate
1 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter & brown sugar, work until light and fluffy. Add beaten egg yolk, vanilla extract & flour

Spread thinly on cake sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes

Cut up chocolate into small pieces (food processor will work but be careful not to over chop)

Spread over cookie surface as soon as taken out of the oven.

Sprinkle with chopped nuts & cut into squares while warm
